Armenda Stacy, 53, of Hatfield, KY, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 17, 2016 at her home. Born January 11, 1963 at Hatfield, she was a daughter of the late Simon and Virgie Jude Stacy. In addition to her mom & dad: Simon & Virgie, she was preceded in death by one brother: Simpson Stacy; one sister: Azzie Stacy Brooks; and one sister-in-law: Shelby Stacy.
Armenda enjoyed gardening, fishing, and surrounding herself with friends and family.
Surviving are her brothers: Rush (Monica) Stacy, Thermon Stacy, and William (Jane) Stacy all of Hatfield, KY, Donnie Stacy and Menifee (Dixie) Stacy of Warfield, KY; sisters: Spicie (Doug) Michalski of Belfry, KY, & Charity (Charles) Evans of Genoa, WV; sister-in-law: Alice Stacy. She also leaves 27 nieces and nephews, numerous great-nephews; five nephews she thought the world of: Rush Stacy Jr., Kevin Thermon Stacy, David Isaac Stacy, Dougie Michalski and Jack Isaac Stacy, and a host of friends & family to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Mary Elizabeth Old Regular Baptist Church at Hatfield, KY with Elder Lacy Walters, Elder Albert Cable and Elder Ivan Weil Thornsbury officiating.
Burial will follow at the Stacy Family Cemetery at Hatfield, KY. Serving as pall bearers will be the nephews. Five nephews she thought the world of: Rush Stacy Jr., Kevin Thermon Stacy, David Isaac Stacy, Dougie Michalski and Jack Isaac Stacy.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Friday and Saturday at the church with services nightly at 7:00.
