Barry Neil Dotson

Barry Neil Dotson, 56, of Majestic, KY, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at his residence.  He was born August 23, 1961 in Williamson, WV, a son of the late Ralph & Yvonne Baker Dotson.

Barry was a former purchasing agent in the mining industry, and was a member of Woodman Community Church at Woodman, KY.  He enjoyed doing small engine repair, tinkering with mowers & weed eaters.  He also liked squirrel & turkey hunting, and enjoyed fishing.  Barry always had a smile for everyone and could often be found sitting under the shade tree at Freeburn, talking with his friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife: Cindy Dotson of Majestic, KY; one son: Raymond (Kayla) Daniels of Grapevine, KY; one daughter: Lisa (Richard) Wolford of Woodman, KY; one brother: Steve Dotson of Phelps, KY; one sister: Kim Dotson of Freeburn, KY; seven grandchildren: Richie & Ryan Wolford of Woodman, KY, Eric, Caden, Bailey, Cameron, & Brystol Daniels of Grapevine; special friends: Greg Prater, B.J. & Orville Wolford; and a host of friends & family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Jones & West Funeral Home with Reverend Odis Blankenship officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Freeburn Community Cemetery with family & friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home with special services at 7:00 P.M.
