Betty Ann Pena, age 69, of Phelps, KY, passed away on Sunday October 18, 2015 at Pikeville Medical Center.
She was born July 16th, 1946 in Freeburn, KY, a daughter of the late JoAnn Ellis, and the late James Sincell. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband: Mickey Pena; two sons: Rickey Wolford, Elijah “Steve” Sincell; one daughter: Angela Wolford; and one brother: Sammy Sincell.
Betty was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include four brothers: George Sincell of Pikeville, TN, Frankie Sincell of Phelps, KY, James Sincell of Phelps, Robbie Sincell of Fayetteville, NC; one sister: Patsy Chapman of Phelps; six grandchildren: James & Justin Hickman of Mississippi, Lexie & Connor Sincell of Phelps, KY, Riley & Laykin New of Phelps, KY; seven nephews: Ervin Jr. Chapman, Matthew Chapman, Ralphie Chapman, Allen Sincell, Dwayne Sincell, Randell Sincell, James Wendell Sincell; four nieces: Regina Sincell, Mellissa Chapman, Brittany New, Sue Ann Sincell; one great niece: Shanna Sincell and a host of friends and family to mourn her passing.
Services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 27th at the Jones & West Funeral Home with Reverend Bernard Smith officiating.
Private interment will follow later in the Sincell Family Cemetery at Phelps.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Betty may be made directly to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
