Blane Wolford, 57, of Phelps, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Phelps.
He was born February 18, 1958 in Williamson, WV, a son of the late Byrd and Lillie Wolford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Blane Marvin Wolford; brother: Monroe Wolford, and a sister: Evie Hurley.
Blane was a disabled coal miner and of the Church of God Faith.
Survivors include two daughters: Jessica Smith of Sevierville, TN, & Laura (Kenneth) Wolford of Dandridge, TN; two brothers: Tommy Wolford (Ruth Robinette) of Stopover, KY, Wimpie (Bernice) Wolford of Stopover; two sisters: Mary Layne, & Maybelle Hurley both of Phelps, KY; three grandchildren: Tyler & McKenly Wolford, Sierra Sinclair, and a host nieces, nephews, family and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 7th 2015 at the Jones & West Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Belcher officiating.
Private interment will follow in the Wolford Family Cemetery, Phillips Branch, Phelps, KY.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones & West Funeral Home of Phelps, KY.
