Danny Hess, 40, of Raccoon, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, March 05, 2015 at his residence.
Born on July 18, 1974 in Pike Co. KY, he was the son of Dan Hess of Raccoon Creek and the late Reva Thacker Hess.
Danny was a retired coal miner, a loving son, and a devoted father.
In addition to his father, Danny is survived by one son: Daniel Lee Hess of Feds Creek, KY; two daughters: Charity Faith Hess of Johnson County, KY and Sarah Nicole Hess of Feds Creek, KY; one brother: John Hess of Raccoon Creek, KY; one sister: Selena Chapman of Raccoon Creek, KY; one niece: Kristin Thacker of Raccoon Creek, KY; and two nephews: Cody & Isaiah Hess of Pikeville, KY and a host of family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Jones & West Funeral Home, Phelps, KY. Special services will be held at 7:00 P.M. with Clinton Thacker and Daniel Thacker officiating.
Graveside services will follow at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, March 11th, 2015 at the Hess Family Cemetery.
