Delcy Marie Hayes, 76, of McCarr, KY, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at her residence.
She was born August 12, 1938 in Yeager, WV, a daughter of the late Edward Payne and Oria Roberts. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Daniels; and one daughter: Danna Daniels
Delcy was one of the best moms, grandmaws, and great-grandmaws that you could have. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons: Robert Daniels of Columbus, OH, and Scott Kenneth Hayes of McCarr, KY; three daughters: Sandra (John) Slone of Ransom, KY, Leisha (Russell) Akers of Buskirk, KY, and Trenia Hayes of Ransom, KY; one step-sister: Dorothy Hollingshead of Columbus, OH; and thirteen grandchildren: Skyla, Robert Jr., Harley, Cody, Brandon, Danny, Debbie, Maranda, Shawnta, Russell Jr., Nile, Tabitha, and Crystal; along with a host of great-grandchildren, plus one on the way.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 11th at the Oppy Church of God Home with Pastor Billy Jack Evans officiating.
Burial will follow in the Vanover Family Cemetery
Visitation will begin at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday with services at 7:00 P.M.
