Harold Lee Campbell, 66, of Cynthiana, KY, formerly of Stopover, arrived at his Heavenly Home on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017. He was at home surrounded by his family. He was born July 27th, 1951 in Pike County, KY, a son of the late William and Geraldine Campbell.
Harold will be remembered as a humble, loving man of God who was truly a faithful servant. He was a precious, faithful, selfless, and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Harold touched the lives of countless people and his legacy of faith and love reaches far beyond the depths of comprehension. Harold was a veteran of the United States Army, a retired coal miner, and a child of the Kingdom of God. His words, “God is good, all the time. And all the time, God is good!” will forever ring in our hearts.
Survivors include his wife that he adored: Huvita Kay Campbell of Cynthiana, KY; one daughter: Taletha (Seth) Clay of Cynthiana, KY; two granddaughters who were the light of his life: Kionna Meade and Macy Clay, also of Cynthiana, KY; two brothers: Ezekiel (Betty) Campbell of Radcliff, KY and Jeffery (Mary) Campbell of Stopover, KY; one sister: Colleen (Sanford) Dotson of Owingsville, KY; two special brothers in Christ with an immeasurable and unbreakable bond of love: Terry James Smith of Phelps, KY, and Thurman “Woody” Barker of Pikeville, KY. Also, a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 16th at the Jones & West Funeral Home with Evangelist Terry James Smith officiating.
Military rites will be conducted by DAV Chapter 141 of Belfry, KY with burial following in the William Jesse Robinett Family Cemetery, Stopover, KY.
Brothers, Brothers-in-Law, and special friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home chapel with the preaching of the Word of God at 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones & West Funeral Home of Phelps, KY. The guestbook may be signed at www.joneswestfh.com.
