Jeanet (Adams) Curry

Jeanet Curry, age 70, of South Williamson, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at her residence.  She was born November 6, 1946 in Delorme, WV, a daughter of the late John & Alma Blanton Adams.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. 

Jeanet was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.  She loved tending to her garden and canning what she raised.  In her leisure time, Jeanet enjoyed reading.

Survivors include her husband: Thomas Curry of South Williamson, KY; one daughter: Annette Chafin of Belfry, KY; one son: Johnny (Cindy) Adams of Matewan, WV; one stepson: Thomas Jr. (Jessica) Curry of Buskirk, KY; her twin sister: June Davis of Delbarton, WV; six grandchildren: Joshua Adams, Austin Chafin, Cassidy Chafin, Kendra, Tiffany, & Mallory Curry and a host of family & friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. Friday, February 3rd at the Jones & West Funeral Home, Phelps, KY with special services 7:00 P.M. by Reverend Okey Varney.

Graveside services will follow at 11:00 A.M. Saturday morning in the Mountain View Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Huddy, KY.
