Jerry Evans Obituary

Jerry Lee Evans, 75, of Williamson, WV, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Trinity Healthcare Services in Williamson, WV.

He was born September 14, 1942 in Switzer, WV, a son of the late Luther Lee & Pauline “Browning” Evans. In addition to his parents, Jerry was also preceded in death four brothers: Harold, Bill, Larry, and Jimmy Lee Evans; three sisters: Josephine Swanner, Edith Evans & Betty Jo Evans.

Jerry was a former factory work for Brach's Confections and was of the Freewill Baptist Faith. He was a member of the American Legion in Williamson, WV, and the Wounded Warrior Project.

Those left to cherish his memory include one brother: Robert (Patty) Evans of Phelps, KY; and a host of nieces & nephews.

A memorial visitation will be from 6:00 – 10:00 P.M. Thursday, April 19, 2018 in the chapel of the Jones & West Funeral Home of Phelps, KY.

Interment will be held at a later date in the Abe’s Branch Community Cemetery at Phelps.
