Jerry “Butchie” Stiltner, 51, of Stopover, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Pikeville Medical Center. Born May 31, 1966 in Williamson, WV, he was a son of Christine Sanson Stiltner and the late James Stiltner.
Butchie had worked as a logger and was of the Protestant faith. He was a kind-hearted person who always had a smile for everyone.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving companion: Sherry Morrison of Stopover, KY; mother: Christine Stiltner of Stopover, KY; three sons: Jonathon (Leah) Stiltner of Jenkins, KY, Tommy (Samantha) Stiltner of Lexington, KY, and Jayden Robinson of London, KY; two daughters: Jessica (Micah) Coleman of Herrin, IL, and Solicity Paige Stiltner of Stopover, KY; two brothers: Randy (Doris) Stiltner of Kimper, KY, and Dean (Julie) Stiltner of Maryville, TN; three sisters: Sheree Prater of Stopover, KY, Sabrina (Matt) Layne of Freeburn, KY, and Tiffany Layne of Phelps, KY; four grandchildren Chelsea, Madison, Kaleb, and Waylon; and a host of family & friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 29, 2017 at The Jones & West Funeral Home with Reverends Larry Rife and Denny Land officiating.
Burial will follow in the Sanson Family Cemetery Majestic, KY with family & friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home with special services Saturday 7:00 P.M.
