Larry Sheldon Gallimore, 68, of Logan, West Virginia, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Logan Center Genesis HealthCare.
He was born February 9, 1949 in Hardy, KY, a son of the late Clarence & Irene Gallimore. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by one brother: Mike Gallimore and two sisters: Geraldine & Betty.
Larry was a former chief electrician in the mining industry.
Larry leaves behind: Janice Sue Dotson, the love of his life; one son: Robbie Gallimore of Stone, KY; one daughter: Aimee Gallimore of Stone, KY; two brothers: Garland (Lula) Gallimore of Hillsboro, OH, Dickie (Lydia) Gallimore of Gladwin MI; five sisters: Carolyn Murphy of DeFuniak, FL, Peggy Goins of Logan, WV, Kathy Cross of Columbus, OH, Yolanda (Jim) Cohen of Union Lake, MI, Florence Kuise of Lansing, WV; three grandchildren: Katie Eastwood, Jade Eastwood, & Isaiah Gallimore; one great-grandchild: Eli Crum; along with a multitude of nieces & nephews.
Graveside services were conducted at 12:00 Noon Monday, September 25, 2017 at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Maher, West Virginia, with Larry's nephew Barney Goins & Rev. Clyde Whitt officiating.
