Shaun Blankenship

Christopher Shaun Blankenship, 37, of Williamson, WV, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at his residence.  Born October 13, 1978 in Williamson, WV, he was a son of the late Curtis and Magalene Lambert Blankenship.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Curtis, Brian Keith, & Michael Paul Blankenship; cousin: Daniel Jo Dotson; and his grandparents: Hurshel & Gladys Lambert. 

Shaun’s favorite pastime was being with his family & friends, who he loved very much.  He also enjoyed fishing, and listening to his music.

Those who survive Shaun include one daughter: Brooklyn Blankenship of Matewan, WV; one son: Nathan Kapke of Benton, TN; two brothers: Steven Blankenship of West Williamson, WV, Sanford Blankenship of Williamson, WV; and a host of aunts, uncles, family & friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Faith Mission Church, McCarr, KY with Reverend Jimmy Fields officiating. 

Burial will follow at the Buskirk Cemetery, Radio Hill with family & friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Friday at the church.
