Virginia E. Dotson Belcher, 78, of Grassy Creek, Jamboree, KY, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 at Pikeville Medical Center.
She was born July 13, 1938 at Feds Creek, KY. She was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith.
Virginia has finally found her “Peace in the Valley” with her husband: Thomas J. Belcher; parents: Carol & Grace Dotson; and sisters: Emma Dotson, & Lolita Horn.
Virginia is survived by 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 11 children she loved dearly: Judy, Susan, Johnny (Para), Mossie (David Goodin), Jack, Jennifer, Thomas Paul, Billy Ray (Lori), Tabitha, Sally, and Elmer. She is also survived by her brother: Jimmy Dotson; and two sisters: Ann (David) Kidder & Laurie (Roger) Swiney.
Virginia will be sadly missed. May she rest in God’s arms.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the Jones & West Funeral Home, Phelps, KY with Reverend Odis Blankenship officiating.
Burial will follow in the Belcher-Tolliver Cemetery, Grassy Creek, Jamboree, KY.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with special services 7:00 P.M.
