Jason Daniels

Jason Daniels 56, of Freeburn, KY passed away at his residence on February 23rd, 2024.  He was born July 16th, 1967, a loving son of the late Henry and Mable Daniels.  In addition to Jason’s parents, he was also preceded by his paternal grandparents, Cecil & Viola Daniels, maternal grandparents, Willie & Rebecca Wolford, brother, Ronnie Daniels, nieces, Stephanie & Kissy Daniels, nephews, Jason Nathan Daniels, and Robert Jr. Daniels, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jason was a retired coal miner and was of the Presbyterian Faith.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and digging for ginseng.  Jason loved his fur baby chihuahuas. 

Those surviving Jason include his son, Jason Ronnie Daniels (Emalee Dizney) of Toledo, OH; brothers, Hassel (Teresa) Daniels of Freeburn, KY, Henry Daniels Jr. of Richmond, KY, Earl (Connie) Daniels of Lynn, WV, Howard Daniels, of Georgetown, KY, Robert (Michelle) Daniels of Huntington, WV, and Herman Daniels of Cincinnati, OH, sisters, Donetta Campanella of Freeburn, KY, Betty (Frank) Sanson of Mason, OH, and Doris Daniels of Houston, TX; three grandchildren; uncle, Drewey Wolford; aunt, Lillian Daniels; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 1st, 2024, from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. at the Jones & West Funeral Home in Phelps, KY. 

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 in the chapel with pastors, Mike Dingess and Randy Wood officiating. 

Interment will conclude at Daniels Family Cemetery in Lynn, WV with friends and family serving as Pallbearers.
