Alice Fay Stacy, 69 years old, of Louisa, Ky passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Three Rivers Medical Center. She was born January 28, 1951 in Louisa, KY, the daughter of the late Samuel & Rosie Sweeney Maynard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Simpson Stacy and daughters, Margret Stacy, and Julie Harless.
Alice was a homemaker who had a special bond with her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. She had a heart of gold and loved taking care of her family.
Survivors remaining to honor her memory include two daughters: Genevieve (Jason) Sykes of Elkhorn City, KY, and Barbara (Leroy Harless, and special friend, Cassandra Jarrell) Harless of Louisa, KY; one son: Simpson Stacy (Carla Webb) of Webbville, KY; one sister: Genevieve (Will) Stacy of Louisa, KY; son-in-law: Joe Marcum of Louisa, KY; grandchildren: Brad (Alisha) Harless of Ashland, KY, Jordan (Lauren) Harless of Lawrence County, KY, Savannah (Delbret) Whitt of Louisa, KY, Ricky (Chasity) Harless of Warfield, KY, Alice Harless and Aron Marcum of Chattaroy, WV, Tyler Stacy II of Webbville, KY, Mercedes (Jonathan) Wagner of Phelps, KY, Alex Coleman of Elkhorn City, KY; great grandchildren: Brayden and Shyann Whitt, Jaylyn and Rick Leroy Harless, Raygan Marcum, Morgan, Kelly, Honey, Kira, and Emberly Harless, Braxton, Alexis, Jace, and Adelyn Harless, Sadie Wagner, Samantha, Aubre, Bryson Coleman; special friends and family from The Jordan Center and Three Rivers Medical Center, and a close family friend: Larry Webb.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday August 21, 2020 at the New Friendship United Baptist Church, Louisa, KY with the Reverend John Goble officiating.
Burial will follow in the family cemetery at Louisa with family & friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday & Thursday at the church with special services Thursday at 7:00 P.M.
