It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the passing of Donnie Lee Young age 23, on July 21, 2021 at is home in Stopover, Ky. He was born January 30, 1998 in Pikeville, Ky. a son of Timothy Edward and Jacqueline Lester Young of Phelps, Ky.In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother Joshua Edward Young of Phelps, aunts Hilda Francis (Rick Lester) Stopover,Ky. Sharon Casey, West Liberty, Ky. , Robin (Howard) Lester, N.C., Wendy (Edd) Coleman, OH. Uncles, Tim (Norma) Lester, McAndrews, Ky. Jeff Young, NC., and a host of extended family and friends. Donnie was a handyman by trade. He loved motorcycles and four wheelers. He was a gun aficionado. He enjoyed his playstation and loved the outdoors. He was of the Christian Faith. Donnie was always willing to help his friends and neighbors. He possessed a sweet spirit and everyone who knew and loved him will forever feel his loss.

Visitation will begin Sunday July 25, 2021 the Jones and West Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be Monday July 26, 2021 at 1:00 P.M.   with Bruce Hawkins officiating. Burial will be at the Lester Family cemetery at Phelps,Ky.
