Drewey Edgar Sincell

Drewey Edgar Sincell of Phelps, KY passed away Sunday, December 15, 2020 at Pikeville Medical Center.  He was born June 6, 1965 in Williamson, WV, the son of the late Pete Lewis  and Betty Lou “Church” Sincell. He was 55 years old.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Jimmy Sincell, and a sister: Gladys Wolford.

Drewey was a coal miner who enjoyed raising his chickens and enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved to hunt and ride four wheelers. Drewey also loved church and was a member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church.

Survivors remaining to honor his memory include his wife: Nina “Hurley” Sincell, two sons: Aaron (Bethany) Sincell of Man, WV and Duane (Heather) Crum of Matewan, WV, one daughter: Amber (Eric) Slone of Pikeville, KY, one brother: Pete (Paula) Sincell of Phelps, KY, three sisters: Tammy Farley of McCarr, KY, Angel Sincell of Maryland,  Jenny Lynn Sincell of Freeburn, KY, a special sister in law: Maggie Thorpe of Phelps, KY, a special aunt: Lois Blankenship, a special niece: Rebecca Lee Ann Wolford of McCarr, KY, seven grandchildren: McKenna, Kalit, Kylah, Aiden, Johnathan, Piper, Riglee and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday December 19, 2020 at the Pentecostal Tabernacle of Edgarton, WV, with Reverends Ronnie Wolford, Jody Hurley, and Charlie Brown officiating.

Burial will follow in the Varney Cemetery of Lynn, WV, with Preston Sincell, Dewayne Cooper, Justin Farley, Jordan Blankenship, Emory Hurley, Jacob Hurley, Don Hurley, Dustin Hurley, and Ricky Joe May serving as pallbearers.  Serving as honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Wolford, Jody Hurley, Terry Thorpe, Pat Wolford, Mike Hurley, Ray Griffey, Roger Lester, Sanford Bentley, and Tommy Dale Wolford.

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 10:00 P.M. Friday December 18, 2020 at Pentecostal Tabernacle with special service at 7:00 P.M. The church will close at 10:00 P.M.
