Dustin Earl Crabtree

Dustin Crabtree, 41 of McCarr, Ky. passed away tragically on December 19th, 2022, in Blackberry City, West Virginia in a vehicle accident.  He was born June 15th, 1981, in South Williamson, Ky. to the late Earl Spencer Jr. and Rita “Crabtree” Whitt.  In addition to his dad, Dustin is also preceded by his grandparents, Lincoln Charles, and Molly Slone. 

Dustin was a lifelong resident of Auburn Hollow and a caregiver for his grandma whom he lived with.  He loved his momma and granny more than anything.  He enjoyed shooting and collecting guns and riding his four-wheeler.  Dustin loved children, especially his niece and nephews.

Those surviving are his mother, Rita Whitt of Belfry, Ky.  Sisters, Kashenna Crabtree (Prince) of Williamson, WV; Savana (Don) Mahon also of Williamson, WV; grandmother, Clara Crabtree Charles of McCarr, Ky;  aunts, Pamela Hurley; Debbie (Arthur) Caldwell; Teena (David) Riddell; Elizabeth Cline; and special aunt, Kathy Wolford.  Uncles, Billy (Karen) Holsinger, Ronnie (Michelle) Charles, and Kelly Cline;  nephews, Joshua & Jonathan Adkins, JayQuan Jones, and Donavon Mahon.  Niece, Jakyia Jones.  Special nephews, Braxton & Kaleb Hatfield.  Many close cousins and his girlfriend, Jocelyn Lowe.

The family would like to welcome friends at 6:00 P.M. at Jones & West Funeral Home in Phelps, Ky. on December 26th, and 27th, 2022.  The funeral will be held at 1:00 P.M. December 28th, 2022, in the chapel with Ronnie Charles officiating.  Interment will follow at Crabtree Cemetery on Julius Hall Drive in Nolan, WV.  Pallbearers, Ronnie Charles, John New, Corey Baker, Bobby Thornsbury, Prince Jones, Don Mahon, and Robert Blankenship.
