Elsa (Bevins) Smith

Elsa “Bevins” Smith 76, of Ransom, KY passed away Saturday April 17, 2021 at her residence. She was born February 27, 1945 in Williamson, WV the daughter of the late Lat and Ann “Newsome” Bevins.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Irvin Bryan Smith, a daughter: Lola Ann Smith, a granddaughter: Paige Dennis, a sister: Myrtle Helie, two brothers: Richard and James Bevins.

Elsa was a loving homemaker and mother who enjoyed taking care of her family. She loved her children and grandchildren. She was a reserved lady and even when she was angry, Elsa maintained her quiet, proper disposition. She was a fan of country music. Elsa wanted to help others by being an organ donor particularly by donating portions of her skin to help burn victims. She was a unique and special person and will surely be missed.

Survivors remaining to cherish her loving memory include three daughters: Tissa Smith, Tina Smith, and Necole “Nikki” Dillon, two brothers: Donnie and Jerry Bevins, a grandson: Michael Scott, three granddaughters: Stephanie Scott, Emily Smith, and Faith Smith, and a great granddaughter: Lola Rae Stroud. She is also survived by a host of other extended family, neighbors, and friends.

In honor of her wishes there will be no services.
