Karen Necole May

Karen Necole May, age 43 of McCarr, Ky. departed this life on Friday April 28, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.  Born February 23, 1980, in South Williamson, Ky., a daughter of William Everett May of McCarr, Ky. and Wanda Kay Curry Branham of S.C.

Karen was a homemaker and loved being with her grandchildren.  She was very kind to everyone, whether she knew them or not.  She will be sadly missed by her friends and family.

Those who survive Karen include her fiancé, Billy Holsinger of McCarr, KY; daughters, Keisha (Josh) Hatfield of McCarr, KY; Kyerstin (Timmy) Church of Turkey Creek KY; Keonia Charles (Robert Blankenship) of Turkey Creek, KY; and same as a daughter, Sabrina Baisden of McCarr, KY; brothers, William Daniel May of McCarr, KY; Chad Everett (Jayme) May of Grayson, KY; and Derrick Keith May of SC; sister, Monica (Kenny) Varney, of Varney, WV; mother in law, Clara Charles of McCarr, KY; sister in laws, Pamela Hurley of Belfry, KY; Rita Whitt of Belfry, KY; Debbie (Arthur) Caldwell of Richmond, KY; Teena (David) Riddell of Berea, KY; grandchildren, Braxton, T.J., Kaleb, Brionna, and Kaelyn.  Also, a host of family and friends. 

The family would like to welcome friends at 6:00 P.M. Monday & Tuesday May 1st, and 2nd, 2023, for visitation at the Old Rugged Cross Church in Rutherford Hollow at Matewan, WV.  On Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023, at 12:00 noon,  everyone will gather to say goodbye and at 1:00 P.M.  proceed to Hatfield Cemetery in McCarr, KY.  Family will serve as Pallbearers.
