Rhonda Norman

Rhonda Norman age 54 of Matewan, WV. departed this life on September 21, 2021 at the Pikeville Medical Center after a courageous battle with Covid 19. Born August 4, 1967 at Williamson, WV., a daughter of the late Harold May and Pauline Gooslin May. Rhonda was also preceded in death by her husband Sid Norman and her daughter Amanda Norman.

She leaves to mourn her passing, brothers H.D. May of Red Jacket, WV, Jerry (Nina) May of Matewan, WV, Brian (Sabrina) May of Red Jacket, W.V. and David (Stacy) May of Morehead, KY. sisters, Sherry (Mitchell) Coleman of Maysville, KY., Pam (Robert) Alley of Belfry, KY. Linda Stanley of Canada, Ky.  Lasondra (Roger) Staton of Williamson, WV. and two grandchildren Riley Norman and Dalton Slone. She also leaves a special niece Kim Steele, and her Nieces and Nephews who referred to her as Maw Maw Rhonda.

Rhonda was of the apostolic faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will begin Friday September 24 , 2021 at the Jones and West Funeral Home Chapel at 6:00 P.M. with a special service at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be Saturday September 25, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. with Shawn Gooslin Officiating.

Interment will be at Family Cemetery at Barn Hollow, Freeburn, Ky.
