Sheila Jo Lell

Sheila Jo Lell, age 65 of Phelps, Ky. departed this life on June 2, 2022, at the Pikeville Medical Center.

Born December 11, 1956, in Williamson, WV, a daughter of the late Emerson Bud Sanson and her mother Fannie Jean Sanson of Pikeville, KY.  Other than her father she is preceded by one sister, Nicole Hall.

Sheila leaves to honor her memory, her mother, her companion Douglas Dent of Phelps, KY., sons Jonah Stump of Pikeville, KY. and Dave Maynard of Delorme, WV. Daughters Angie Lell of Pikeville, KY. and Jodie Lell of Phelps, KY. a twin sister Charlotte Smith of Pikeville, KY. She also leaves grandchildren Megan Pruitt of Jamboree, KY Triston Lell of Stopover, KY. Hallie Rea Meek, Morehead, KY. Toni Alexandria Lell of Phelps, KY. A host of friends also survives her.

Sheila was of the Christian Faith. She was a devoted mother to her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family, especially her baby granddaughter, Toni. She loved working for Brenda and Vernon Collins at Hornets. She loved spending time with her best friend, Douglas Dent.

The love she had for her children was immeasurable. She will be missed by everyone who’s life she touched

Family will begin receiving friends at 6:00 PM at the Jones & West Funeral Home on Monday June 6, 2022. Funeral Service will be Tuesday June 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM with interment at the Lell Family Cemetery at Camp Creek, Stopover, KY. Larry Blackburn will officiate.
