Sophie Compton

Sophie Compton ,45 years of age, departed this life October 5, 2021, at her home in South Williamson, Ky.  

Born December 24, 1975, a daughter of the late Billy Compton, and Lois Compton who survives her.  Sophie is also survived by a daughter; Tiffany (Daniel) Dula of Hudson, NC, and Kimberly Fletcher of Red Jacket, WV, grandchildren; Joshua Fletcher and Madilyn Dula. She also leaves to mourn her passing two brothers; Rocky (Lynn) Church of Delbarton WV, and Mitchell (Pat) Compton of Rowe VA, two sisters; Michelle (Bobby) Blankenship and Linetta (Bob) Bradberry of Cana, VA, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Sophie was a graduate of Magnolia High School. She enjoyed attending church and fellowship with other Christians. The greatest joy in her life was her two grandchildren. She will be missed by her family and friends. She leaves a legacy of love and devotion to family.

Visitation will begin on Friday October 8, 2021, at the Pentecostal Tabernacle in Delorme, WV, at 6:00 PM. There will be a special service at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be Saturday October 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM with Ronnie Wolford officiating. Interment will be at the Varney Cemetery at Lynn WV. Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.
