Teresa Ann (Vincent) Smith

Teresa Ann Smith, 65, of Phelps, Kentucky passed away Wednesday December 21st, 2022, at her residence.  She was born in Ohio on March 4th, 1957, to the late Robert and Phyllis “Thompson” Vincent.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded by her loving husband Eddie Dean Smith Sr.

Teresa was a homemaker and loved taking care of animals.  She was of the Christian faith and a member of the Gooslin Bottom Pentecostal Church of God.  She loved watching Christian programs on tv and enjoyed shopping. 

She is survived by two sons, Robert “Bobby” Vincent of Hickory, NC, and Eddie (Ashley) Smith Jr. of Phelps, Ky; sister, Roberta (Barry) Smith of Freeburn, Ky; two grandchildren, Keisha Smith of Lexington, KY, and Jeremy (Johnda) Smith of Garrett, IN; a great grandson, Maverick Stephens of Lexington, KY; and friends who she considered family, Teresa Layne, Lois Cox, and Inga Daugherty. 

The family would like to welcome friends at 6:00 P.M. December 26th, 2022, at Gooslin Bottom Pentecostal Church with special services at 7:00 P.M. with pastor Benny Freeman officiating.  Funeral service will begin at 12:00 P.M. December 27th, 2022, at the church.  Interment will follow at Wheeler Cemetery in Blaine, KY. with Barry Smith officiating the graveside service.  Friends and family will serve as Pallbearers.
