Vivian “Linda” (Smith) Hager, of Hardy, KY passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at University of Kentucky Hospital. She was born October 17, 1957 in Thacker, WV. the daughter of the late Ransom “Rant” Dotson and Mandy “Smith” Dotson. She was 63 years old. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Hager, and one son, Junior May, and a host of other loved ones.
Vivian was a homemaker and was a member of Faith Mission Church at McCarr, KY. She loved coffee time with her family and loved her children and grandchildren.
Survivors remaining to honor her memory include one son: Johnny (Sabrina) May of Newtown, WV, one daughter: Becky (Earl Jr.) Blankenship of Hardy, KY, three brothers: Johnny Dotson of Hardy, KY, Jimmy Dotson of Ransom, KY, and Denny (Linda) Blankenship of Williamson, WV, five sisters: her twin, Barbara (Junior) Thomas of Ransom, KY, Pauline (Delane) Thomas of McCarr, KY, Virgie (Junior) May of McAndrews, KY, Emma (Bobby) Francis of Freeburn, KY, and Pearl (Ronnie) Begley of Jackson, KY, ten grandchildren: James, Chris, Dalton, Shayla, Vernie, Dakota, Austin, Macy, Lilly, Zelan.
Private funeral services will be conducted at the late residence with Reverends Jimmy Fields & Ervin Francis officiating.
Burial will follow in the Blankenship Cemetery, Hardy, KY.
Due to a recent mandate handed down by Governor Andy Beshear concerning the Covid-19 pandemic, all funeral services, memorial services, and visitations are required to be private with a maximum of 25 in attendance.
