Zachary Lee Estepp of Freeburn, KY passed away January 30, 2021 at the Pikeville Medical Center of Pikeville, KY. He was born July 18, 2004 in South Williamson, KY, the son of Homer Lee Estepp and Jessica Jo “Edwards” Blankenship of Freeburn, KY. Zachary was 16 years old.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Eddie Edwards.
Zachary worked as a cook at Penn Station and was a student at Phelps High School of Phelps, KY. He was in grade 11 and was on the Academic team. Zach was in ROTC for two years and in the Gaming Club. He enjoyed music and playing the guitar. He also enjoyed playing video games and loved to read. Zachary was loved by many and was known for being laid back and fun to hang out with. He was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his parents those remaining to honor his memory include his paternal grandparents: Homer (Gail) Estepp of Majestic, KY, his maternal grandmother: Jackie Edwards of Freeburn, KY, his brother: Davy (Jessica Page) Blankenship of Frankfort, KY; uncle, Larry (LaDonna) Estep of Ransom, KY, aunts: Teresa (Barry) Michael of Phelps, KY, Missy (Greg) Mattingly of New Haven, KY, and Janet Edwards of Pikeville, KY, and a special and dear friend: Tayen Smith. Zach was also survived by a host of family and friends, his classmates, and the staff of Phelps High School. He will be missed by many.
Funeral Services will be held at the Jones & West Funeral Home of Phelps, KY Friday February 5, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Harold Layne officiating.
Burial will follow at the family cemetery, Autumn Lane of Majestic, KY.
Visitation will be at the chapel Thursday evening from 6:00-10:00 P.M.
