Anna Mae (Dotson) Johnson

Anna Mae Johnson, 70, of Stopover, KY, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at her residence. She was born January 13, 1947 a daughter of the late Wade and Mae Dotson. In addition to her parents, Anna was also preceded in death by her first husband: Ira Blankenship; second husband: Berlin “Bal” Johnson; one son: Marty Blankenship; two brothers: Wade & Morris Dotson; three sisters: Aliena Blankenship, Sammon & Lucy Dotson.

Anna was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include three sons: Chuck (Lisa) Blankenship, Brandon Lee Johnson, Raymond (Joann Justice) Johnson all of Stopover, KY; one daughter: Lulabelle May (Roger New) of Stopover, KY; one sister: Virginia Chapman of Phelps, KY; six grandchildren: Amanda May, Marybeth (Blake) Hensley, Becky Blankenship, Serenity Jade Johnson, Sydney Johnson, Lorie Johnson; one great-grandchild: Wyatt Hensley; and a host of family & friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 22, 2017 at Jones & West Funeral Home with reverends Harold Layne, Odis Blankenship, & Benny Freeman officiating.

Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery with family & friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with special services starting at 7:00.
