Ronnie Thacker Obituary

Ronnie Thacker, 62, of Canada, KY, passed away on Monday, July 29th, 2019 at Pikeville Medical Center.  He was born January 17, 1957, in Williamson, WV, a son of the late App & Naoma (Fuller) Thacker.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Thacker & one brother-in-law, Bill Williamson.

Ronnie attended the Sidney Missionary Baptist Church.  In his free time, he loved to watch sports and hang out with his friends.  He, like many of us, had his ups and downs, leading a simple life and enjoying spending time with his family.

Those left to honor his memory include two brothers: Michael (Emma Sue) Thacker of Clinton, TN; Gary (Janet) Thacker of Canada, KY; one sister: Mary Sue Williamson of Canada, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, & friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 2nd, 2019 at the Sidney Missionary Baptist Church, Sidney, KY, with Missionary Baptist ministers officiating.

Burial will follow in the Thacker-Fuller Cemetery, Canada, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday & Thursday at the church with special services nightly at 7:00 P.M.
