Bennie Anderson

Bennie Anderson 69, of Kimper, Ky., passed away April 30, 2022, at Pikeville Medical Center.  Bennie was born June 16, 1952, in Pikeville, Ky., to Eldee and the late Fairy Murphy Anderson. 

In his younger years, Bennie worked as a tipple operator.  Bennie was an avid outdoorsman.  He loved boating, hunting, and fishing.  He enjoyed his motorcycles and loved his horses.  Bennie was a member of Grapevine Church of Christ.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bennie is survived by his wife, Nancy Blackburn Anderson; daughters, Summer Marie Anderson, and Rachel Renee (Johnnie) Honaker.  Brothers, Darrell (Debbie) Anderson, Gregory (Shelia) Anderson, and James Anderson.  One Sister, Connie (Jim) Webb.  In addition to his father Eldee Anderson and his wife Irene Damron Anderson, Bennie is also survived by sister in laws, Ethel (Keith), and Sherry Ann.  Brother-in-law, David and Prockie.  Mother-in-law, Ann Blackburn.  Two Grandsons, Christopher, and Koltan.  Special friend, Andrew Shepard who was like a son.  Bennie leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, friends and extended family that will miss him dearly. The family will welcome friends on the evening of May 6th, 2022, at 6:00 P.M. at the Grapevine Church of Christ.  Special Services at 7:00 P.M. with clergymen, Jim, and Dwayne Abshire.  The funeral will be May 7th, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at the church.  Interment will conclude at Lohland Justice Cemetery in Kimper, Ky.  Friends and family will serve as Pallbearers.
