Betty Jean (Cline) Ryans, age 78, went home to be with the Lord on December 29th, 2025, leaving from Pikeville Medical Center surrounded by the love of her family. She was born at War Eagle, W.V. on March 15th, 1947, the cherished daughter of the late Truy & Gladys Cline.
In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded by her husband, Maynard Raymond Ryans; her son, James Deano Robinette; brother, Mickey Cline; and her sisters, Shirley Frazier, Janice Coleman, and Linda Gay “Pat” Jackson.
Betty took great pride in being a homemaker and caring for her family. She loved the Lord with all her heart and was an active and devoted member for 40 plus years at The Pentecostal Tabernacle in Jesus Name at Delorme, W.V. Her faith was the cornerstone of her existence. Betty’s life was a true reflection of her heart – always giving, always caring, and always putting others before herself. Betty loved her little dog Peppy. She enjoyed travelling in her spare time.
Those left to cherish Betty’s memory include her children, Fredrick FitzGerald Robinette, Beulah & Greg Chester, CY & Lisa Robinette, Monica Robinett & Eric Lee. Betty was the proud grandmother of James Lee Robinette II, Timmy, Brandon, Heather, Christopher, Derrick, Keona, John Eric Jr., Gage Z. Shook, Cody Robinett, Natasha Ann Wolford, and Courtney Gosnell and a host of great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 1st, 2026, beginning at 6:00 P.M. at The Pentecostal Tabernacle in Jesus Name at Delorme, W.V.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M. at the church on Friday, January 2nd, 2026 with Reverend Ronnie Wolford officiating.
Burial will follow at Bud Mounts Cemetery in Majestic, Kentucky. Friends and family will serve as Pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
