Billie Jean Dotson

Billie Jean Dotson 70, of Majestic, Kentucky was born February 26, 1951, in Delbarton, West Virginia. She Passed away September 25th, 2021, at Pikeville Medical Center.

Billie is preceded in death by her parents, John William Thomas Sr., and Oma Jean Stumbo.  Also, a sister Betty Lou Romans and a Great Granddaughter Maliyah Brooke Sneed.

Billie was a homemaker; she loved her family with a passion.  She had many hobbies.  Quilting and reading her bible were two of her favorites.  She was a member of Woodman Community Church.

She leaves behind her loved ones, a husband Mack Arthur Dotson of Woodman, Ky.  A daughter, Regina (Timmy) Sneed also of Woodman, Kentucky.  A son, James MacArthur (Angie) Dotson of Matewan, West Virginia.  Two Brothers, Gary Michael Thomas of Sarah Ann, West Virginia.  John Thomas Jr. of Ragland, West Virginia.  Three sisters, Mary Katherine Hitchcock of Williamson, West Virginia.  Carolyn Williams of Taylor, Michigan.  Shirlene Dove of Chattaroy, West Virginia.

Billie leaves four grandchildren, Kristi (Rodney) Adkins, Brandon (Charitie) Sneed, Kyle (Donessa) Sneed, and Kala (Erik) Sipple.  Eight Great Grandchildren, Karlie, Alyssa, Paisley, Gannon, Blakelyn, Skylah, McKenna and Destiny.

Visitation will begin Tuesday and Wednesday, September 28th, and 29th,2021 at 5:00 p.m. for the family, 6:00 p.m. for the public.  Services at 7:00 p.m. with Odis Blankenship and Buddy Gannon officiating at the Jones and West Funeral Home.  Funeral is Thursday, September 30th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel.  Burial will be at the Sanson Cemetery, Woodman, Kentucky.  Arrangements are under the direction of Jones and West Funeral home of Phelps, Kentucky.  The guestbook may be signed at www.joneswestfh.com.  Covid precautions will be observed.
