Bobby Gene Wolford

Bobby Gene Wolford, 69 of Jamboree, KY. entered rest on February 6, 2024, at Pikeville Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born September 19, 1954, at Stopover, KY. a son of the late Ernest and Sallie Mae Prater Wolford.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded by a brother Darrell Wolford, and a daughter Vergena Fields, and brother in-in-law Jordan Belcher.

Those left to honor his loving memory include brothers, Ronnie (Erma) Wolford, of Lester, WV, Roger Wolford, and Jimmy Wolford both or Jamboree, KY. Theodore (Margaret) Prater of Virgie, KY., three sisters Linda Compton of Freeburn, KY., Barbara Wolford of Jamboree, KY. and Jacqueline (Burbage) Wolford of Pikeville, KY., one grandson Phoenix Fields of Jamboree, KY. Bobby also leaves a host of nieces, and nephews and his extended family at the Pikeville Nursing and Rehab Center.

Bobby enjoyed hunting , playing cards and riding a four-wheeler.

The family will begin receiving friends on Thursday February 8, 2024, at the  Jones & West Funeral Home at 6:00 P.M. The Funeral Service will be on Friday February 9,2024 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverand Kelly Baldridge officiating. Interment will be at the Wolford Cemetery on Abes Branch at Jamboree, KY.
