Carol Lynn Smith

Carol Lynn “Dotson” Smith of Salyersville, KY formerly of McCarr, KY passed away Saturday March 27, 2021 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center of Paintsville, KY. She was born March 30, 1951 in Phelps, KY the daughter of the late Harrison and Sadie “Blankenship” Dotson. She was 69 years old.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Paul Smith, seven brothers: Harrison Jr., Robert, Ted, Marlowe, Raymond, Estil, and Syvian, sisters: Zettie, Ruby, and a half sister Maci.

Carol was a homemaker, a loving mother to her daughter: Carol Sue Smith of Richmond, KY, who survives her, and a loving sister to her sister Tracy who also survives her. She was a great friend to those close to her. Survivors also include a host of extended family and friends. Carol enjoyed bingo and working puzzles. She also loved coloring and was particularly good at it. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Graveside services will be held at the Smith Cemetery of Smith Fork, Phelps, KY Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. with Freddie Dotson officiating.
