Clarence “Hammer” Blankenship Jr., age 39 of Roanoke, VA. formerly of Phelps, Ky. departed this life on May 24, 2022, at his home. Born March 4, 1983, in South Williamson, KY. the son of the late Clarence Blankenship Sr. and Patricia Blankenship of Phelps, Ky.
Besides his mother he leaves to mourn his passing one son Kenneth Michael Blankenship of Stopover, Ky.
Daughters, Savannah L. Blankenship of Phelps, Ky. and Kyra Lynn Blankenship of Stopover, Ky. and a sister, Brenda Gail Blankenship of Phelps, Ky. and one Uncle Monty Blankenship. He also leaves Friends
Hilda Francis, and Steven Hamilton. Special Cousins, Carl Hamilton, Annie Stump, Lisa Blankenship, Andy Layne and a host of others. He loved animals, riding his four-wheeler, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
The family will welcome friends at 6:00 P.M. on June 11th, 2022. Special services at 7:00 P.M. with Clergymen, Odis Blankenship and Robert Coleman officiating. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. June 12th, 2022, in the chapel. Interment will follow at Blankenship Whispering Hills Cemetery in Camp Creek at Stopover, Ky.
