Danny Casey

Danny Casey, 63, of Phyllis, KY passed away at his residence on July 15th, 2023.  He was born in Pikeville, KY on September 28th, 1959, and was the son of the late Frank & Molly Casey.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded by his loving wife, Charlida Casey, brothers, Daris, James Edward, Ricky Lee, Frank Jr., Jackie Darrell, and Terry Lee Casey, two sisters, Leatta Casey, and Shelby Jean Robinson. 

Danny enjoyed hunting when his health allowed.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. 

Those surviving Danny include his children, Josh (Donetta) Casey of Phelps, Ky; Danny Dewayne Casey of Freeburn, Ky; Michael (Jennifer) Casey of Virginia; daughters, Amie (Bo) Skeens of Virginia, and Mikah Nicole Casey; sisters, Irene Stell of Freeburn, Ky; Teresa (Hassel) Daniels of Freeburn, Ky; and Becky (Luther) Smith of Phelps, Ky; grandchildren, Skylar Dewayne Skeens, Autum Misha Skeens, Jasper Elisah Skeens, Michael Casey Jr., Jennifer Casey, Kiara Casey, Dakota Casey, Chloe Casey, Jaxton Casey, and Gage Casey.

The family would like to welcome friends both nights at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 19th, & Thursday, July 20th, 2023, at Cornerstone Apostolic Church in Phelps, KY with special services beginning at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Richard McKinney officiating.  Funeral services will begin at 12:00 noon Friday, July 21st, 2023.  The burial will conclude at the Casey Family Cemetery in Smith Fork of Phelps.  Friends and family will serve as Pallbearers.
