Dorothy Faye Justice age 64, of Majestic, KY. went home to be with the Lord on Monday September 11, 2023, at Pikeville Medical Center . Born November 20, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Floyd & Inis Compton Blankenship.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved daughter Darla Justice and her beloved son Jonathan Justice, 4 brothers, Wade , Dallas, Roger Lee, and Ervin Blankenship. Sisters Brenda Sue Blankenship and Sheila Utterback and stepsister Maggie Dotson, and step-brother Marty Blankenship.
Dorothy was a wife, mother, grandmother, and a former Sunday School teacher. She was of the Pentecostal faith, and she loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Her family was her world. She loved to read her bible and have bible study wither sisters.
She leaves to honor her memory, her husband of 45 years, Darrell Justice, daughter Jody Lynn (Stevie) May of Majestic, KY. Granddaughters Halee Daniels, Micah May, Stephanie May, Whitney Hensley, Kinzie Brooke “Pooh Bear “Justice, Natalee Michelle Miller, Grandsons Nicholas Gene, Axel Drake Miller, and Tripp Matthew.
Great grandchildren Veronica ”Peanut” Dempsey, Harley Dempsey, Nova Hensley, and Skylar Hensley. She was expecting the arrival of Joni Lynn Daniels. She is also survived by sister Macie (Rodney) Caudill of TN. two brothers Lawson Blankenship of Stopover, KY., and Toby Blankenship of Aflex, KY. stepbrother Thomas Blankenship of Williamson, WV.
She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews and other friends and loved ones.
A Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
