Earl Wolford

Earl Wolford, 63 of Phelps, KY passed away July 13th, 2023, at his residence.  He was born November 25th, 1959, in Freeburn, KY.  He was the son of the late Domer and Rosette “Layne” Wolford.  In addition to his parents, Earl was also preceded by his brother, Edward Wolford, and sister, Teresa Wolford.

Earl was a lifelong resident of Phelps, KY.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gathering with his friends.  He loved his children and his grandbabies.

Those surviving to cherish Earls memory includes a son, Earl Keith Wolford of Chapmanville, WV; a daughter,  Rosetta “Marie” Wolford of Strawberry Plains, TN; wife, Barbara Eldridge; brothers, Orville Wolford; Virgil Wolford, and Don Wolford; sisters, Lisa Wolford, and Margaret Thacker; grandchildren, Bentley, Zoey, Dalton, Tori, and Addie; special nephew, Eddie Wolford; special uncle, Tracy Wolford.  Earl also leaves to mourn his passing a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends. 

The family would like to welcome friends from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. Monday, July 17th, 2023, at the Jones & West Funeral Home with special services starting at 7:00 P.M. with Brother Benny Freeman officiating.  Cremation will take place after the service.
