We regret to announce the sad passing of Elisha Lee (Hunt) Hicks, 39, of Phelps, KY, on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, at her residence surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on August 15th, 1986, the loving daughter of James & Ernestine (Lester) Hunt.
Elisha was preceded in death by her sister, Priscilla Ann Hunt, and her paternal grandparents, Arvil & Brookie Hunt, and her aunt, Melissa Lester.
Elisha had a passion for family, especially her children. She loved being outdoors and shopping. One of her favorite past times was taking trips to Tennessee. Elisha was always humble and good-hearted, and a dependable friend. She was of the Pentecostal faith and gave her heart to God and was baptized at home.
Elisha was a devoted wife, mother, granddaughter and friend.
She was the beloved wife to Christopher Lee Hicks of Phelps, KY; two cherished daughters, Allison Lea Hicks and Krislynn Paige Hicks both of Phelps, KY; maternal grandparents, Ernest and Alice Lester of Phelps, KY; two uncles who were like brothers, Ernest Jr. and Lisa Lester of Phelps, KY, and Michael Lester, also of Phelps, KY; a host of cousins, Caleb Lester, Teonna Layne, Paisley & Parker Fields, Jordan Fields, and Ryder Lester. A special friend, Melissa Jane.
Elisha held a special place in the hearts of her family and friends, always showing love and kindness to everyone. Her memory will live on through each of them, especially her daughters, who were the center of her world.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 22nd, 2025 from 6-9 P.M. at the Jones & West Funeral Home with special services beginning at 7:00 P.M. with Pastors Daryl Wolford and Russell Ray Prince officiating.
Honorary services will be held for Elisha on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025 in the chapel at 1:00 P.M.
Burial will follow in the Lester Cemetery at Phelps, Kentucky. Friends & family members will serve as Pallbearers.
