Freddie Thacker Obituary

Freddie Allen Thacker of Wellington, KY, formerly of Majestic, KY, departed this life Wednesday June 3, 2020 at Frenchburg, KY.  He was born July 6, 1969 at South Williamson, KY the son of the late Fred Alexander and Norma “Ingersoll” Thacker.  He was fifty years old.

Freddie worked for Precision Boilers for about thirteen years and was a member of the Boiler Makers Union. He was also a certified welder.  In his spare time, he liked to tinker around in the garage working on cars, four wheelers, chainsaws, basically whatever needed to be fixed.

Freddie loved trail riding with his friends and enjoyed bluegrass music and going to festivals. He had a special love for children and the elderly.  He had a heart as big as the heavens.  Freddie was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors left to honor his memory include his loving companion, Johnna and her daughter Jaylen of Wellington, KY; two sons, Alex and his wife Tiffany of Sevierville, TN, and Steffen and his wife Courtney of Morristown, TN; two daughters, Maechen and her husband Johnathan of White Pine, TN and Madison of Trenton, OH; two brothers, Johnny (Sheryl) Thacker of Trenton, OH, and Barry (Trudi) Thacker of Bracken County, KY; three sisters, Gina Sweeney, Chrissy Fields, and Tiffany Ugo, all of Greenville, TN; eight grandchildren, Haiven, Izaix, Isabella, Aubrey, Gannon, Hudson, Kayden, and Kash; and a special uncle and aunt, Randy (Rhonda) Thacker of Clearfield, KY.  He is also survived by a host of other aunts and uncles, other family, neighbors, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 10, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. in the Faith Tabernacle Church of Majestic, KY, with the Pastor Charles Meek and Reverend Odis Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Buddy Mounts Cemetery of Majestic, KY.

Visitation will be at the church Monday and Tuesday evening at 6:00 P.M. with special services each night at 7:00 P.M.
