Gregory Matthew Clark, 51, of Woodman, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at his residence. He was born January 3, 1969 in Hamilton, OH, a son of the late Alfred Richard Clark & Barbara Ann Daniels.
Greg was a disabled coal miner who loved working in the mines until he was injured. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He was an avid football & basketball fan & loved watching the Superbowl, being a Steelers fan. Greg also enjoyed Nascar and watching the news & his favorite TV shows, American Pickers and Andy Griffith. Greg loved going fishing & doing mechanic work in his spare time. Greg will leave a legacy of love and memories his family & friends will cherish.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Melissa Ann Clark of Woodman; his daughters, Jasmine (Craig) Ratliff of Grundy, VA, Hayle Clark of Woodman, and Brittany Daniels of Pikeville, KY, who he claimed as his own; Greg loved his girls more than anything. He also leaves four brothers, Jimmy (Kathy) Brandt of Cincinnati, OH, Jeremy Daniels & Jonathan Daniels both of Woodman, Brian (Liddie) Daniels of Feds, Creek, KY; special aunt & uncle, Albert (Phyllis) Daniels of Matewan, WV; special aunt, Betty Ireleim of Cincinnati; special friends, Bob Stepp, Paul Cote, Charles Lewis, Elvis & Tennie Hurley, Brian Sneed, Archie Blankenship, and Chris Post; grandchildren, Colton Hayes Ratliff of Grundy, VA, who was Greg’s world, and two he claimed as his own grandchildren, Conner & Abel LaCourse who he called “Pappy’s boys”. Greg also leaves a host of nieces, nephews & friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Woodman Community Church with Reverends Odis Blankenship & Joe Conn officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hurley Cemetery, Stopover, KY.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Thursday & Friday at the church with special services Friday at 7:00 P.M.
