Jenny Loretta (Berman) Lowe

Jenny Loretta Lowe, age 73, of Belfry, KY passed away September 27th, 2023, at her residence.  She was born in Bluefield, WV, on March 1st, 1950, a daughter of the late Harry and Clara “Rowe” Berman.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by her husband, Hugh Michael Lowe, brothers, Walter Oiler, Jerry Berman, Gene Oiler, and Dukey Oiler, sisters, Mary Lou Meadows, Georgia Bird, and an infant sister, grandchildren, Jon Triston Taylor, and Linda Jean Lowe.  

Jenny was of the Freewill Baptist Faith.  She was a graduate of Appalachian Beauty School in South Williamson, KY.  She had a huge heart, made of gold, which she wore on her sleeve.  Her bright red hair always gave her notice.  She loved being around her grandchildren. 

Those surviving to cherish Jenny’s memory include her children, Jeffery Michael Lowe; Kasandra Lowe (Donnie Maynard); and Shawn Lowe all of Turkey Creek, KY; Jimison Ray (Millie Hackney) of Inez, KY; brother James Gerald Oiler of Fedville, WV; sisters Nancy (Joe) Blackburn of Hardy, KY; Carol (Ronnie) Spangler of Big Sandy, TX; and Eva June Fankhauser of Akron, OH; grandchildren Jason Lowe, Cameron (Cassidy) Lowe, Dalton Lowe, Annabella Maynard, Thomas Maynard, Brian Maynard, Carrie (Kamron) Anderson; great-grandchildren, Alona Anderson, Emory Anderson, Ellie Anderson, Isaiah Reed, Aiden, Ian, and James Waylon Reed on the way.  A host of family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Monday, October 2nd, 2023, at Octavia Freewill Baptist Church.  Special services at 7:00 P.M. with the ministers of the church officiating. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023.  Interment will conclude at Reed Family Cemetery in Turkey Creek, KY.
