Joyce Ann (Francis) Casey

Joyce Ann “Francis” Casey 67, of Kimper, KY passed away Friday June 4, 2021 at Pikeville Medical Center of Pikeville, KY. She was born September 17, 1953 in Freeburn, KY the daughter of the late Harold and Doris “Ward” Francis.

Joyce was a convenience store manager who worked for L & M Mart of Kimper.  She loved her children and grandchildren but also liked being by herself. She was a big U.K. Wildcats fan and loved college basketball.

Survivors remaining to cherish her memory include her son: Bryan Casey, two daughters: Angie Maggard of Kimper, KY and Kim (Ronnie) Mahon of Phelps, KY, a brother: Mike Francis of Prestonsburg, KY, three sisters: Donna (Clarence) Smith of Ringgold, GA, Linda Wolford of Phelps, KY, and Trish (Doug) Bryant of Pikeville, KY, three grandchildren: Ashley (Jarred) Kender, Timothy Maggard and Preston Mahon. She is also survived by special friends: Wanda Plaster and Henrietta Dotson, several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family, neighbors and friends.

Visitation and Services will be held at the Jones & West Funeral Home of Phelps, KY Monday, June 7, 2021 from 11:30-2:00 P.M. with the first hour set aside for immediate family only. Reverend Clarence Smith will be officiating.

Burial will follow in Mountain View Memory Gardens of Huddy, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
