Julius Robinett III

Julius Robinett III, 54, of Hurley, VA passed away May 16th, 2024, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA.  He was born at Stopover, KY on July 27th, 1969, a loving son of the late Julius Robinett Jr. & Dorothy “Briggs” Blankenship.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded by a son, David Cline, and his uncle who raised him, Carlson Robinett.

Julius was a diesel mechanic by trade, and he could work on any type of truck.  He enjoyed tearing things apart and putting them back together.  Julius would always be willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. 

Those surviving to honor Julius’s memory include his children, Brittany (Hayes) Lester of Winchester, KY, Brianna Robinett of Huntington, WV, and Bianca Robinett of Stopover, KY; brothers, Jerry Lee Robinett, Emzie Roy Blankenship, and Matthew Robinett; sisters, Angela Blankenship, Alice “Robinett” Head, and Latisha McCoy; grandchildren, Atlas Hurley, Mason Marcum, Rylan Collins, and Drake Sebastian Curry. 

Julius also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.

Interment took place in the Blankenship Cemetery on Hurricane Creek at Stopover, KY.
