Lisa Gail (Dillon) Baisden age 70, resident of North Matewan, W. Va., passed away on August 29, 2025, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, W. Va.
Lisa was born on April 23rd, 1955, at Williamson, W. Va., the loving daughter of the late Okey & Cleo (Sturgill) Dillon. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by her husband, Columbo Baisden, daughter, Bernadette Baisden Gilman, granddaughter, Aubree Cline, two brothers, Jimmy & Andy Dillon, and two sisters, Joyce Webb, & Gladys Boone.
Lisa was a proud homemaker, and her interests were deeply rooted in the love for her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed attending Sprigg Community Church when her health allowed her to. Lisa enjoyed fishing, gardening, and watching detective shows.
Those surviving Lisa includes her cherished children Jimmy and Abby Baisden of Matewan, W. Va., Bridget Baisden Wallace and her husband Corey of St. Albans, W. Va.; brothers, Harold (Rhonda) Dillon of Red Jacket, W. Va., and Paul (Bernice) Dillon of Jennings Creek, W. Va; and one sister, Virginia (Chuck) Woods of Lorraine, OH; a special niece who she loved like a sister, Loretta Dillon of Parkersburg, W. Va,
Lisa was the adored grandmother of Jacob Baisden of Charleston, W. Va., Joshua (Kailie) Baisden of White Pines, TN, Isaak Baisden of Matewan, W. Va., Rebecca Adkins, of Williamson, W. Va., and Kendra Adkins of Duncan Fork, W. Va.; four great-grandchildren, Dustin, Preslee, Ashton, and Eliana Grace.
Lisa leaves behind a host of extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
The cherished memories created by Lisa and her family are treasures that will live on, bringing comfort and joy to their family as they remember the warmth and affection she so generously gave, and she will be remembered always for her humble and forgiving spirit.
A celebration of life will be held on September 14th, 2025 at Shop Hollow in Red Jacket, W.Va. at 1:00 P.M.
