Lois is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred, and Margaret Rose of Roderfield, WV;  her husband, Acie L. Prater of Majestic, Ky; son, James K. Prater, of Romulus, Michigan; sisters, Norma J. Wolford; Loretta M. Gross; and Carol S. Franklin; brothers, Leonard M. Rose; James A. Rose; Darrell J. Rose, and a host of extended family members.

Those left surviving is her son, Acie Edward Prater of Canton, Michigan, who was her caretaker for 40 plus years; sisters, Ruth Blankenship; Wanda Rice; Mary Riffe, and Hope Gilliland; brothers, Clifford Rose, and Nathan Rose.  Also, a host of extended family members.

There will be no chapel service.  Only a graveside memorial at the family’s request.  Interment will be held at Robinett Cemetery in Stopover, Kentucky.

Thank you to all who made this possible with your anonymous donations.  I know God will richly bless you for your generosity.  Thank you to those who came to support Edward as he said his last goodbye.  Frank Gilliland, Acie Edward Prater, Crystal D. Goff of McDowell, WV, Mary M. Riffe, Heather and Timmy Bostic, Hope Gilliland, Brittany Teirra Saltes, Ethel and Jimbo Lowe.  Lois left a last wish to be buried by her husband and son, but the Iaeger Cemetery was closed due to the owner and ground care takers death.  Last minute decisions were made to lay her to rest in Kentucky.

1 Thessalonians 4:13

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
