Nancy Jo (Hamilton) Cochran

Nancy Jo Cochran, age 73, of Hurley, Virginia, departed this life on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.  Her suffering is over and she is resting in the arms of the Lord. 

Nancy is the daughter of the late Gene Hamilton and Betty Brown.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by her stepfather, Rex Brown and her brother, Steve Hamilton.

Nancy was of the Church of God faith.  She attended Freeburn Church of God when she was able.  She worked at the country kitchen for many years in Flora, IL.

Those surviving to honor Nancy’s memory include her husband Wesley Cochran of Terre Haute, IN; son, Kenneth Morrison and his wife Sherry of Hurley, VA; grandchildren, Kaden of Anna, IL, and Reagan & Mackenzie of  Anna, IL, Reid, and Carsen of Williamsburg, VA, Kendall & Layken of Phelps, KY, and Konnor and Faith of Majestic, KY, and  Blake and Marybeth of Hurley, VA; one great-grandson, Wyatt Hensley. 

Nancy had a special friend and caregiver Amanda Sellards.  We would like to give a special thank you to Legacy Hospice of Richlands, VA and her nurse, Becky, for their unwavering love and support during this difficult time.
