Ollie (Sullivan) Daniels

Ollie “Sullivan” Daniels 74, of Pikeville, KY passed away at her residence on October 21st, 2023. 

She was born August 8th, 1949, a daughter of the late Herbert Sullivan and Irene “Ison” Runyon.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by her brothers, Everett Lester, and Kenny Sullivan; sisters, Carol Prater, & infant sister, Christine Sullivan; granddaughter, Monica Dawn; great-granddaughter, Macy Bowling, and stepfather, Fred Runyon.

Ollie was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She was a homemaker and of the Church of God Faith.  She was known for her love of helping others.  She enjoyed gardening her flowers and cooking.  Ollie loved spending time with her family and taking care of them.

Those remaining to cherish the memory of Ollie include her children, Donna (Alfredo) Rivera of Pikeville, KY, Venisa (Roy Michael) Dotson of Phelps, KY, and Verlin Sullivan of Pikeville, KY; brothers, Clifford Sullivan of Phelps, KY, Gary (Lisa) Sullivan of Stopover, KY, and Fred Jr. Runyon of Belfry, KY; sisters, Penny (Darrell) Blankenship of Phelps, KY, Kim Hamilton of Stopover, KY, Sherry Hurley of Phelps, KY, Sadie Hurley of Stopover, KY, and Judy (Tim) Holbrook Belfry, KY; step-mother, Georgie Sullivan of Phelps, KY;  grandchildren, Brandon & Jason Bowling, Kayla Dotson, Jasmine Bowling, Brianna Bowling, Sadie Leann Bowling, Aleiah Woods, Henry Jayden Bowling, Ashlyn Bowling, and Tyler Blake Bowling; great granddaughter, Haisley Smallwood.  She had three very special friends that she considered sisters, Shelly West, Trish Casey, and Charlene Taylor.

The family would like to give a special, heartfelt thank you to Bluegrass Care Navigators and all of her loving caregivers.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 25th, 2023, from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the Jones & West Funeral Home in Phelps, Kentucky. 

Funeral services will begin at 12:00 Noon, on Thursday in the chapel.

Interment will conclude at the Sanson Cemetery in Phelps, KY.
