Paul David Hurley

Paul David Hurley of Phelps, KY passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center of Pikeville, KY. He was born September 26, 1960 at Williamson, WV the son of the late Audley and Anna “Blankenship” Hurley. He was 60 years old.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother: Orville Hurley, and a sister: Tootsie Collins.  

Paul was a master carpenter and a really good singer. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who lovingly called him “Triple P.” they thought that was a cool name. He enjoyed time with his little dog “Peaches”, riding ATV’s when he was able, and time with his special smoking buddy: Stephanie Meadows. Paul appreciated and loved his nephew Danny Hurley (Rena) for all their help.

Survivors remaining to honor his memory also include his companion: Tammy Coleman; daughter: Anna (Tim) Meadows of Oakwood, VA, a brother: Nick “Crick” Hurley of Jamboree, KY, three sisters: Clemey Hurley, and Bonnie Hurley both of Cynthiana, KY and Coleen Hurley of Newnan, GA, three grandchildren: Timothy Trevor, Trenton Alan, and Gracie Marie Meadows all of Oakwood, VA. Paul is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.

Cremation will take place and the family will hold a memorial at a later date with burial following in the Wolford Family Cemetery of Jamboree, KY.
