Reba Sue (Lester) Bain

Reba Sue (Lester) Bain age 83, of Phelps, KY went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 7th, 1940, in Phelps, KY.  She was the daughter of the late Lancel and Gladys (Layne) Lester.  Reba Sue was also preceded in death by her husband James W. Bain.  They had been married for 38 years.

Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her passing includes her daughter, Sherri L. (Dave) Clusky of Lexington, KY; one grandson, Shawn L. Clusky of Lexington, KY; three sisters, Gerlene Wescott of Wauconda, IL; Maggie (Keith) White of Naperville, IL; Lana Gayle (Frank) Williams of Iuka, MS; three brothers, Roger (Jeneva) Lester of Phelps, KY; Larry (Lois) Lester of Majestic, KY; and Ralph (Joan) Lester of Phelps, KY.  She will be missed by 13 nieces and nephews that all loved their “Auntie Sue.”

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, September 15th, 2023, at Jamboree Church of God with Pastors Larry Blackburn and Mitchell Bowling officiating. 

Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Thursday evening at the church with special services at 7:00 P.M.

Interment will conclude at Lester Cemetery in Abes Branch of Phelps, Ky. with  friends and family will serve as Pallbearers.
