Terry Eugene (Bubba T) Griffith

On February 10th, 2025, at 9:15 A.M.  Terry Eugene "Bubba T" Griffith was welcomed into the arms of Jesus at his parents’ home in Phyllis, KY.  He was born June 30th, 1978, in Pikeville, Kentucky to his loving parents, Roy and Judy (Stanley) Griffith of Phyllis, KY.  

Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam & Nellie Stanley, and Jack & Thelma Griffey; two aunts, Brenda Anderson, and Linda Lou Anderson; and one cousin, Jenny Bea Stump.

Terry was a proud member of Biggs Church of God.  Wrestling was a huge part of Terry’s life.  He was a member of BCW-Bluegrass Championship Wrestling where he was known as “Eugene Waldo.”  Terry enjoyed fishing, putting Lego sets together, and riding his motorcycle & four-wheeler.  

In addition to Terry’s parents, Roy & Judy Griffith of Phyllis, KY, those left to love and cherish the memory of Terry and mourn his passing include his daughter, Alex Griffey; aunts & uncles, Bernice & Johnny Wilson, (Terry always called Bernice his ugly duckling), Mary & Johnny Ray Fields, Earl & Delphia Stanley, Linda & Bobby Griffey, Rhonda & Larry Harrison, and Barb & Ronnie Harrison; a host of cousins, Cindy Fields, Eugina (Glen) Senters, Eric (Mitzi) Stanley, Johnny Matt (Amanda) Fields, Kristy (Gerald) Martin, Sammy Wilson, Josh (Stacey) Fields, Nicole (Richard) Turner, Andra (Timothy) Robinett, Regina Harrison, Dean Harrison, Joe (Jessica) Harrison, Tammy Harrison, and Jeff (Cara) Harrison.  

Terry’s best friend was Craig “Peanut” Griffey.  He also had a host of Wrestling Buddies and extended relatives who were dear to his heart.

  
Above all, Terry will be remembered as the proudest father, most loyal friend, he loved his family fiercely and would go to the ends of the earth to protect those he loved.  

Visitation will be held February 14th & 15th, 2025 beginning at 6:00 P.M. nightly with special services at 7:00 P.M. at the Biggs Church of God located at 21651 KY 194, Fedscreek, KY. with Pastors Josh Fields and Dewayne Abshire officiating.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M. February 16th, 2025 at the church with Pastor Johnny Matthew Fields & Sammy Wilson officiating.  

Interment will follow at Keene Cemetery on Grapevine with Sammy Wilson, Josh Fields, Johnny Matt Fields, Dylan Fields, Richard Turner, and Eric Stanley serving as Pallbearers.
